Google Director, Commercial Lead, Global Network Acquistions in Thornton, Colorado

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, law, engineering), or equivalent practical experience.
15 years of experience in commercial operations, deal structuring, and negotiation in the technology industry.
10 years of experience in influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
10 years of experience leading negotiations and closing commerical partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
MBA or graduate degree in a related field.
Experience working with global partners and navigating international legal and regulatory frameworks.
Familiarity with Google's products, services, and technologies.
Proven ability to lead and influence complex negotiations.
Strong track record of closing successful commercial partnerships.

As the Director Global GNA Commercial Lead, you will be a key technical leader and advisor on all major commercial partnership deals globally. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Go-to-Market to provide guidance and support throughout the partnership lifecycle. Your contributions will directly impact Google's ability to forge successful partnerships that deliver value to our users, partners, and the company.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $262,000-$369,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Provide technical expertise and guidance to deal teams throughout the partnership lifecycle, from due diligence and deal structuring to discussions and execution.
Conduct in-depth analysis of partnership opportunities, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and competitive analysis.
Develop and discuss complex commercial agreements, ensuring favorable terms for Google while maintaining strong partner relationships.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient deal execution. Identify and escalate potential issues and risks, proposing solutions to mitigate them effectively.
Contribute to the development and improvement of commercial operations processes and tools. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in commercial partnerships.
