Base Pay: $20-$21.30 an hour, based on experience

    The Materials Lab Technicians are responsible for sampling restricted stock, fabric, wire, raw materials, or components in one of our functional laboratory areas (Stock testing, Fabric testing or Raw Materials testing). The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate sound judgement, particularly concerning the release and restriction of materials. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting retests and reporting results/dispositions within guidelines established by the Process Technician or Chemist/Engineer.

  • Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected. Basic Computer skills preferred.

    Shift Information: 12-hour shift, New hires would likely be placed onto the night shift.

  • 2-2-3 continuous work schedule (This scheduling allows for some natural overtime and gives a three-day weekend every other week)

    Work Environment: Texarkana, AR Plant

  • The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.

  • The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy.

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future

  • Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations
