Job Summary:
The Senior Engineering Technician has advanced technical skills and experience. They lead testing procedures, analyze results, and contribute to the design and improvement of engineering systems.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support
• Provide technical support to engineers and project managers
• Conduct research and gather data for engineering projects
• Assist with prototype design and development
• Perform tests and troubleshoot equipment
• Create and maintain technical documentation
Project Management
• Coordinate and schedule project tasks and activities
• Monitor project progress and report updates to management
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget
• Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during project execution
Quality Control
• Conduct quality control checks on engineering projects
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Identify and report any quality issues or concerns
• Work with engineers to implement quality improvement measures
Equipment Maintenance
• Maintain and calibrate engineering equipment and tools
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment when necessary
• Keep inventory of equipment and supplies
• Make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements
Safety Compliance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Conduct safety inspections and report any hazards or concerns
• Train team members on safety procedures and protocols
• Implement safety measures to prevent accidents or injuries.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering technology, industrial management, or a related field with at least 4 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Expertise in specialized engineering technologies and systems.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in advanced technical tools.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align documentation processes with business goals.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to identify issues quickly and develop effective solutions.
Salary range:
$81,000.00 - $146,000.00
