JPMorgan Chase Business Analyst II in Tempe, Arizona

As a Business Analyst II in Vehicle Remarketing/Auto Finance, you will play a pivotal role within the department, responsible for creating and managing daily production reports and handling ad-hoc reporting requests. This role ensures that the department's operations are supported with accurate and timely data insights. Additionally, the specialist monitors all incoming requests, maintains comprehensive documentation of user tools and Business Intelligence (BI) applications, and optimizes reporting processes by identifying and consolidating duplicate requests. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the department operates smoothly and efficiently. By providing accurate and timely reports, optimizing reporting processes, and maintaining essential documentation, this role supports informed decision-making and continuous improvement within the department.
Job r esponsibilities
Generate and distribute daily production reports that provide critical insights into the department's performance. Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with departmental goals and objectives.
Respond for ad-hoc reporting requests from various stakeholders, providing customized data analysis and insights as needed.
Prioritize and manage multiple requests to ensure timely delivery of reports.
Track and monitor all incoming reporting requests to ensure they are addressed efficiently.
Maintain a log of requests, including their status and resolution, to ensure transparency and accountability.
Create and update documentation for all user tools and BI applications used within the department.
Ensure documentation is clear, comprehensive, and easily accessible to all users.
Analyze reporting processes to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
Consolidate duplicate or similar reporting requests to streamline workflows and reduce redundancy.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and BI to enhance reporting capabilities.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement updates and improvements to tools and applications.
Required q ualifications , capabilities, and skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Experience with Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation.
Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation.
Ability to work independently in a fast moving environment
Comfortable explaining and translating complex code into digestible information to be consumed by various business partners.
Preferred q ualifications , capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with SAS for advanced analytics and statistical analysis.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Experience with Jira for tracking and managing reporting requests and project tasks
