Citigroup Junior Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking (Associate level) in Tel Aviv, Israel

Team/Role Overview

You will be part of Citi’s Corporate Banking Team based in Israel which services Citi’s global corporate clients with all their worldwide banking needs. You will be working with sophisticated and large corporates on engaging transactions as well as addressing their global banking needs. Further, you will be exposed to and will partner with many different Citi teams worldwide and across different Products, allowing you to navigate in-depth through the banking organization and deliver the Bank to Citi’s clients.

What you’ll do

  • You will support Senior Bankers on the coverage of corporate clients

  • You will be in direct contact with clients to assist them and will collaborate with Product and coverage partners within Citi to address the client’s banking needs

  • You will put together updates about the financial performance of corporate clients to help identify potential risks and business opportunities, oversee the preparation of comprehensive credit memos, build financial models and thoroughly understand the companies’ business strategy and operations

  • You will assist Senior Bankers in developing lending opportunities, cash management activities, hedging initiatives, working capital solutions, trade issuances, and debt capital markets efforts

  • You will coordinate internal approval processes to ensure credit requests are managed smoothly

  • You will prepare detailed internal briefing memos and comprehensive presentations for client meetings

What we’ll need from you

Solid experience in financial analysis and modelling, strong interpersonal skills, pro-active and dedicated client-driven approach

  • Analytical Expertise: solid background in preparing financial analysis and forecasting models

  • Interpersonal skills: excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Client-driven culture: pro-active and dedicated approach to go above and beyond the needs of clients and Seniors Bankers

  • Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or MBA or Master's Degree in Business / Finance (preferred)

  • 5-8 years of experience

  • Languages: English (fluent - must), Hebrew (advanced - preferred)
