The Field Service Engineer is responsible conducts service, repair and/or installation of products or IT solutions at customer’s sites.
This position reports to the Area Service Manager, Emerging Markets and is part of the ASEAN Cytiva customer service team and has to be based in Bandung to support our customers in Indonesia and other SEA countries when required.
What you will do:• Responsible in performing on-site installation, qualification, commissioning, repair and plan maintenance for Cytiva’s equipment.• Work closely with customer, service sales in preparing proposals/recommendations to customers.• Collaboration and work closely with cross functional teams (commercial, Channel Partners, logistics, product specialists and leadership) to enhance customer experience
Who you are :• Graduate in Engineering, Technical, Technology, or any related to job scope, experience preferably in the Life Sciences or Biotech industry with a strong background in engineering. Automation experience/knowledge is a plus.• Ability to work with limited supervision and with good problem-solving skills when faced with complex issues.• Proficient communication skills in English. Strong work ethics and able to maintain good rapport with customers and internal team.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role• Ability to travel –extensively and on short notice across Indonesia and ASEAN region • Must have a valid driver’s license with an own vehicle preferred• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 55lb, any other physical requirements
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:• Experience in industry GMP environment • Background in engineering, problem solving, sale positioning related • Knowledge skill in IT, Network, any digital tool support
