Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages the Collins Financial Shared Service (FSS) team located in the Philippines, ensuring adherence to departmental processes and completion of all assigned tasks in a timely manner.

  • Establishes day-to-day goals and objectives for team members and monitor through performance reporting to ensure achievement of service level agreements.

  • Partners with other members of global Collins Financial Shared Service team to identify and resolve issues with customer communication.

  • Explains policies, practices and procedures of the Financial Shared Service Transactional team.

  • Collaborate with leaders of SBU and Customer-facing teams in the Financial Shared Service to ensure alignment on practices, policies and procedures.

  • Implement process and system improvements to increase team effectiveness and resolve systemic issues with collections process

  • Monitors team efforts in Getpaid to ensure timely collection of assigned accounts.

  • Provides primary input to resourcing levels, promotions, performance and rewards decisions for direct reports.

  • Establishes continuous process improvement by monitoring team performance and internal and external interactions to facilitate timely collection of Collins accounts receivable.

  • Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience.

  • Accounts Receivable experience preferred.

  • Demonstrates ability to lead and motivate teams effectively, having experience in providing performance related feedback to employees and able to resolve conflicts and fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

  • Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.

  • Has broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.

  • Experience with manufacturing ERP systems such as SAP, JDE World/E1.

  • Ideal candidate would demonstrate proficiency in a range of excel skills such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables, report creation and formatting, data analysis and visualization.

  • Strong analytical abilities

  • Proven track record in the ability think critically and creatively to solve problems.
