* T his role will be working temporarily at LEGO temporary office in District 1, HCMC (shuttle bus is provided from Bien Hoa, Binh Duong to the office) and be relocated to Binh Duong at the end of 2024.

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible forthe planning of raw materials and packing materials, ensuring that the production plan can be executed. Through close contact with Procurement team and suppliers, you ensure that a solid supplier relationship and performance.

  • Base on Forecast to monitor PO to vendor and prepare raw material demand before release PO to vendor. Ensure it meets the MRP requirements.

  • Place order with right price, right lead time, right quantity based on requirements and forecast in SAP system. Contact with supplier to ensure receiving goods in right time and right quantity. In case that material has quality issue, work with other department and vendor to clear it as replacement.

  • Manage MRP exceptions and all activities related to material planning to ensure material availability for the master production plan in line with planning parameters and vendor contract.

  • Ensurematerial master data is correctand properly maintaining of SAP transactional data.

  • Monitor, follow up and provide feedback on supplier’s performance on delivery, quality, and service. Take action to improve supplier’s delivery performance.

  • Minimize material freight expenses, control shipment on time to prevent air cost in case of urgent shortage.

  • Control Inventorybased on target defined and goods receipt target, consumption target to make sure inventory protection happen.

  • Control unhealthy stock to avoid excess and dead stock. Reduce inventory to increase cash flow of plant.

  • Responsible for all communication related to supply risks, interruptions, and impacts.

  • Support department initiatives that drive improvements in process and capabilities throughout the organization.

  • Ensure good communication and integration with other planning team, shop floor planner, shipping and other stakeholders.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

You could be our new Material Planning Specialist to support the Planning Director to start up the new Planning team in an extraordinary factory and make sure that our exciting products reach the hands of the children in the most efficient manner. You are also responsible for providing all Planning support to the Packing operation – advance information of plans, monitoring and reporting progress, etc.

Play an important country planning role to set up Material Planning process as well as planning execution in LMV.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Prefer candidate with Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or Finance/Accounting Management, Business Management or similar education background

  • Strong command of English

Must -have qualifications

  • Aminimum of 5-year-experiencein material planning/ buyer/ production planning at multinational manufacturing site with end-to-end Supply Chain, S&OP Process.

  • Comprehensive understanding of existing and future capacity plans/constraints at the manufacturing plant and distribution network, and knowledge of how production capacity can be flexed to meet demand.

  • MS Office (Power Point and Excel is a must, Power BI is a plus)

  • Deep knowledge in SAP system.

  • Good problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analysis and synthesize recommendations.

  • Strong communication & inter-personal skills, able to work under pressure.

  • Good analytical, communication and coordination skills

  • Proven record in professional working style with demonstrated ability provide support effectively, also in a matrix environment – working with large cross-functional, cross-cultural teams.

  • Good with numbers and attention to details.

Nice-to-have qualifications

  • Preference on Consumer Goods industry

  • Understanding of import & export process will be an advantage
