Robert Half HR Director in Tampa, Florida

Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Director for a client in Tampa, Florida. The HR Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The role involves managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration of employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K and other benefits.

• Conduct new hire orientations, gather new hire documentation, and ensure new hires are set up in all associated HRIS systems.

• Lead the sourcing and recruiting of prospective candidates for various positions.

• Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and associated tasks including FMLA/ADA.

• Implement, revise, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

• Utilize HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems for HR management and Corporate Recruiting for talent acquisition.

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.

Requirements

• The candidate must hold a position as HR Director for at least 5 years or more.

• Proficiency in using HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) is necessary.

• The candidate should have experience in recruiting.

• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required; a Master's degree or relevant certification will be highly appreciated.

• The candidate should have a proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies aligning with business goals.

• The candidate must be knowledgeable about HR laws and regulations.

• Must have strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.

• The candidate should have experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.

• Must possess excellent data analysis skills and the ability to make decisions based on interpreted data.
