Citigroup Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst in Tampa, Florida

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Technical Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Assist in the design, implementation, and delivery of a suite of front office trading services including pricing, eTrading, reference data management, and risk management. Develop and deliver critical business enhancements to ensure compliance with trading mandates and drive competitive advantage for the business. Resolve a variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards. Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint. Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals. Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Designing and developing scalable and high-availability applications on message-based architecture using Java Spring, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, EMS, Gemfire, flink, or Angular to provide real-time data to end users; Performing in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems and design/architect solutions related to consent order programs, automation of business operations, and reporting; Utilizing project management skills including Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, estimations, and resource planning to work on different cycles of a project including analysis, requirements gathering, design, development, and implementation/delivery; Using tools including Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Bitbucket and SharePoint to collaborate, estimate, and prioritize work efforts and communicate with stakeholders; and Utilizing hands-on experience with fixed income, spread products, trading, pricing, and sales to design Offering/Pricing/Sales and Trading applications for Primary and Secondary markets. 40 hrs./wk.
