Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: Tamarac, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: Packaging Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining packaging and labeling equipment, ensuring compliance with SOPs and Batch Documentation requirements. They perform pre- and post-operational checks, monitor equipment, and document work performed. Operators are trained and qualified on specific operations and packaging lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain packaging and labeling equipment.
Perform pre- and post-operational checks and cleaning.
Follow Batch Record instructions for materials, labeling, and processing parameters.
Monitor equipment operation and product quality.
Troubleshoot minor production issues and make adjustments as needed.
Perform product counts and initiate line clearance and cleaning procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with cGMP policies and FDA standards.
Provide QA support for audits and inspections.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
Two years of experience in FDA-regulated production environments preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate documentation.
Basic math skills and ability to count accurately.
Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with equipment systems.
Basic computer skills, including data entry.
Skills:
Legible handwriting and accurate documentation.
Ability to follow instructions and coordinate multiple activities.
Methodical and organized work approach.
Understanding of common tools and equipment operation.
Familiarity with equipment systems using utilities like compressed air, electrical supply, and vacuum.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
