MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years professional experience in consumer complaint program work, business administration, customer or public relations, investigations; or administrative work and/or professional regulation, or a field related to the area of responsibility.
A master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
Professional or technical experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
Requires possession of a valid Driver’s License.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequent travel required.
Monthly travel will vary based on activities scheduled (reviews, technical assistance, workshops, conferences).
Must be willing to obtain additional training appropriate to job functions.
NOTES:

Actual hours of work shift will be established by supervisor and based on providing departmental coverage for established business hours.
Some weekend and evening travel required for completing reviews and attendance/presentations at conferences and meetings.
JOB DUTIES:
General: This employee facilitates the administrative review process and compliance monitoring for program participants. Responsible for and assists with conducting various compliance reviews in accordance with 7 CFR 250, 7 CFR 251, 7 CFR 247, and 2 CFR 200 for sponsors operating the in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), and the USDA Foods for Schools Program. The employee will conduct on-site administrative reviews alone, as a team member, or/and as a review lead.
Serves as lead review team member for compliance reviews and monitoring of the Supplemental Food Programs and state-contracted warehouses. Conducts comprehensive, on-site evaluations of the Recipient Agencies and state-contracted warehouses participating in the Supplemental Food Programs. Ensures compliance reviews are conducted in accordance with federal regulations, state laws, rules, policies, and procedures. Completes the off-site and on-site program review tools, and other appropriate review forms and documents within the regulatory timeframes. Provides direction and guidance to other team members. Prepares written reports, disseminates report of findings, obtains required corrective action documentation, and conducts follow-up monitoring as needed.
Serves as lead review team member for Sponsors participating in the USDA Foods for Schools Program. Ensures compliance reviews are completed in accordance with federal regulations, state laws, rules, policies, and procedures. Follows the direction and guidance provided to them by the lead reviewer, supervisor, and/or other team members. Prepares written reports, disseminates report of findings, obtains required corrective action documentation, and conducts follow-up monitoring as needed or requested. Provides information regarding compliance reviews in a timely manner.
Attends and participates in team meetings, staff meetings, and routine training. Develops and aids in the implementation of internal processes and procedures. Maintains and updates administrative review forms as needed in accordance with regulations and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services policies.
Ensures administrative review documentation is accurate and complete in preparation for USDA Management Evaluations. Ensures files are maintained in an orderly fashion and all documentation templates are up-to-date and accurate.
Maintains tracking database for findings and corrective actions. Maintains tracking database for review correspondence.
Timely conducts logistical preparation of the administrative or site reviews (i.e., travel authorization and reimbursements, vehicle arrangements, lodging, P-card reconciliation, etc.).
Assists with the emergency management functions of the bureau during periods of disaster. Perform other related duties as assigned.
