[**[ABOUT YOU [[As the SLPI Coordinator, you will coordinate all SLPI assessments for all AIDB staff employees that have SLPI requirements. You will collaborate and coordinate with all AIDB SLPI Raters to ensure all SLPI assessments are scheduled and completed with scores to provide to the HR and other applicable units. You will coordinate the development and implementation of a sequential sign language training program and curriculum that provides the documentation of achievement of various of proficiency levels.

  • Bachelors Degree in Deaf Education, American Sign Language, or any related fields.
  • Must possess a SLPI level of ADVANCED PLUS upon hire.
  • Must possess a SLPI Rater Certificate.
  • Must have a minimum of three years experiences working with the deaf in areas of education, interpreting services, American Sign Language instruction or any other direct work experience requiring intense communications with the deaf.
