Job Description

Job Title: (Senior) Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

About the role:

Responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis function team. Monitor and analyze operational performance and proactively identify opportunities for operational/financial improvement; lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting activities; and direct the credit and collection operations.

How you will contribute:

1. Financial/Strategic Planning Process

  • Lead the P&L long and short-term planning processes

  • Lead monthly closing process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

  • Support the development of annual operating plans & LRF (long-range-forecast) strategic plan

2. Profitability Analysis & Portfolio Management

  • Conduct business/profitability analysis and assessment of decisions on financial and business results.

  • Ensure the product portfolio is in line with current business decisions and drive quick turnaround of business case analysis

3. Finance Business Partnering

  • Provide proactive commercial insights and transparency of brand/trade marketing decisions for effective resource planning.

  • Bridge the needs and aspirations of each business unit to ensure a win-win result from corporate perspective.

  • Be the catalyst for change and ensure the execution of company key finance projects.

4. Team development and talent management

  • Enable and drive – (1) identify opportunities for continuous improvements and (2) utilize the strengths of each team member which allow the individual innovations.

  • Plan for short- and long-term development and succession plan. Ensure development of a winning team through giving clear directions for key staffs/high potentials. To identify the key areas for training, development, and improvement by timely coaching and mentoring.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting

  • At least 10 years of overall business financial experience, with a minimum of 5 years in financial planning and analysis roles & minimum 3 years of people-management experience

  • Preferably from pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Some international travel (10% of time) may be required
