Description and Requirements
Responsibilities:
Lead technical studies and manage a small team on technical projects.
Stay updated with industry trends and discuss specifications with marketing and customers.
Understand server liquid cooling design trends and related industry specifications.
Resolve complex tasks and issues in collaboration with extended teams.
Communicate effectively across functions and nationalities.
Lead the team in resolving multi-field issues through thorough root cause analysis.
Prioritize tasks to ensure program progress.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in leading technical studies and small teams.
Knowledge of industry trends and ability to discuss specifications with marketing and customers.
Understanding of server liquid cooling design trends.
Full awareness of related industry specifications.
Ability to resolve complex tasks and issues through teamwork.
Strong cross-functional and cross-national communication skills.
Ability to lead a team in issue resolution through thorough root cause analysis.
Project management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure program progress.
Additional Skills:
Fluid Mechanics and Piping Design : Understand the fluid dynamics of deionized water and PG25, and design appropriate piping systems for efficient fluid circulation. Select suitable pumps and valves to control and regulate fluid flow and pressure.
Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer : Master thermodynamics and heat transfer principles to design efficient heat exchangers for heat transfer between deionized water or PG25 and cooling media. Calculate and analyze thermal loads and efficiency in the system.
Materials Science and Engineering : Select appropriate materials for CDU components to ensure chemical stability and durability in deionized water and PG25 environments. Consider corrosion resistance, pressure resistance, and temperature resistance of materials.
Chemical Compatibility : Understand the chemical compatibility of deionized water and PG25 with different materials to avoid material degradation or fluid contamination. Ensure all components (seals, pipes, containers) in the cooling system are compatible with the fluids.
Control Systems and Automation : Design and program control systems to monitor and regulate fluid temperature, pressure, and flow.
Use sensors and automation technology for precise control to ensure optimal system operation.
System Testing and Verification : Conduct system testing and performance verification, including pressure tests, flow tests, and thermal performance tests, to ensure the system meets design requirements. Inspect and verify system reliability and stability.
Environmental and Safety Regulations : Understand and comply with relevant environmental regulations and safety standards, especially regarding the handling and use of deionized water and PG25. Master fluid handling and recycling techniques to minimize environmental impact.
Sealing and Insulation Technology : Design effective sealing and insulation systems to prevent fluid leakage and ensure safe system operation. Familiar with the application of different sealing materials and techniques.
Cooling System Design : Design overall cooling systems, including CDU, piping, heat exchangers, and pump systems, to ensure efficient system operation. Calculate and optimize the system's coefficient of performance (COP) to improve cooling efficiency.
