Washington State Job Bank Thai Specialty Cook (Several Positions) in Tacoma, Washington

We promise you a unique dining experience that you can enjoy again and again, served with a smile! We are seeking experienced and talented Thai Specialty Cooks to help our busy kitchen thrive.
Specifically, our Thai Specialty Cooks will perform the following duties:
- Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes using an understanding of the herbs and spices which permeate Thai cooking, including fermented fish sauce, shrimp pastes, lemongrass, coriander, galingale, garlic, and chilies;
- Cook in a fast-paced environment under time pressure;
- Check the quality of raw and final products to ensure the highest quality standards are met;
- Prepare different types of Thai specialty sauces so the dishes contain unique and authentic Thai flavors; and
- Perform other health and sanitation duties as required by law.
SALARY: $50,939/year
REQUIREMENTS: 24 months in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking experience (2 years of experience in Thai cooking).
