Clean Harbors Facility Foreman in Tacoma, Washington

Clean Harbors is seeking a Facility Foreman for our branch in Seattle, WA. The Facility Foreman is responsible for daily activities and general oversight for plant operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, retail consolidation and groundwater sampling.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times

• Performs one or more specific plant operations such as, drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, truck offloading/loading, wastewater treatment, groundwater sampling.

• Assures all required paperwork for waste tracking movements is maintained and submitted immediately after processing operations have been completed.

• Ensures that supervised operations staff meets all compliance standards.

• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.

• Ensures that all sampling and leachate collection is completed within specifications.

• Operates a forklift when necessary.

Other Duties as Assigned Perform other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

HS Diploma or GED equivalent

Specialized training or 1 year college General Studies

YOE Experience: 5 to 7 years Alternative: Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Proficiency in Windows based applications.

• Demonstrates complete proficiency in one or more specific plant operations such as: drum pumping; drum dumping; tank farm operations; truck offloading/loading; wastewater treatment

• Ability to work in team environment.

• Good organization skills.

• Initiative.

• Leadership skills.
