Job Description:

The Global HR team of ePS is in an exciting and creative phase of refining and building upon up many of our programs to ensure an HR partnership that is fit for purpose, enabling continued growth and success of the business. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to lead the HR function of our LATAM region. This position will be primarily based out of our Sao Paulo office, with a hybrid work from home option supporting our diverse and growing team in Brazil and Mexico (approx. 85 people, with the majority of the team located in the Brazil).

Reporting to the VP, Global Human Resources, this role will act as a trusted business advisor, providing critical thinking and guidance, covering the full employee lifecycle for the LATAM region. This role will require operating with a global mindset in collaboration with the Global HR Business Partners across the organization, with regional refinement to HR policy and programs where appropriate.

Key responsibilities:

  • Proven experience leading respective team members in the region with a hands-on approach to manage the full range of HR functions specific to the region to include, but not limited to:

  • Payroll

  • Benefits

  • Respective country compliance

  • Recruitment

  • Onboarding

  • Performance Development

  • Strategic partner to the business and key stakeholders

  • HRIS and Related System (use and understanding)

  • Employee relations

  • Union partnership (Brazil)

  • Supports the business to achieve their goals, understanding people needs.

  • Partners with the Global HR Team to support and/or lead strategic HR projects. Some of the exciting strategic projects currently include Leadership Development, Learning and Development, DE&I, Employee Engagement, Employer Branding, and Onboarding.

  • Understands and contributes to the development of the region’s business goals and drive human capital strategy from the business strategy.

  • Works closely with VP, HR and other regional HR Partners to ensure seamless communication between region and organization, with the ability to effectively balance both regional and global requirements to ensure fit for purpose HR partnership and advisory to the business.

  • Develops the region’s human resources strategy and executes as appropriate in alignment with Corporate and Global HR strategy. Advises regional business leaders on the implications of short and long-term decisions, strategies, and large-scale change efforts that will yield sustainable business results.

  • Proactively partners with key stakeholders to develop policies, programs, tools to suitably meet the unique requirements of the region, considering a Global Team structure.

  • Implements and customizes COE-initiated HR plans, programs, processes, and tools to ensure regional needs are met while remaining compliant with policy and considering opportunities for a holistic and Global approach where possible.

  • Aligns talent strategies around identified needs and gaps. Partners with the Manager of Global Talent Acquisition.

  • Responsible for the overall management of one HR LATAM team member, vendors, contractors or any type of partnership, ensuring high levels of performance and delivery to the business.

  • Be responsible for compliance and mitigation of legal risks in the region, following local labor laws.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field.

  • Experience in Human Resources.

  • Previous HR Business Partner experience in a global matrixed organization with proven success at leading and influencing others.
