Boeing Brazil is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineer , reporting to Integrated Simulation and Modeling & Systems Engineering Tools Manager working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos office.
The Senior Software Systems Engineer will join the team of Integrated Simulation and Modeling.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead Software Development activities through standards for Aircraft Systems Development for several programs.
Drive continual improvement in solutions sets to Development and Derivative Programs.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
In-depth experience with Software Development for Aircraft Systems.
In-depth Coding experience (C, C++, Python, Java, Labview, etc.).
Experience with Virtual System Integration, Lab Development, Software-in-the-loop, Hardware-in-the-loop, Data Acquisition Systems (development, integration and troubleshooting).
Experience with Model-based design (modeling and simulation using Matlab/Simulink).
Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering.
Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
Proficient in both verbal and written communication skills in the English Language.
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
Master's degree in engineering.
Experience applying systems engineering principles.
Experience with System Test Engineering will be an asset in this role.
Familiarity with Proof Of Match (POM) will be an asset in this role.
Model-based systems engineering and model-based engineering applications and toolsets.
Flexible collaboration skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with ARP-4754, ARP-4761, DO-178B/C, Part-60.

This position offers relocation based on the candidate's eligibility.
Additional Information:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.
Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.
