Job Title: Field Technician
Job Description:
The Field Technician will work in teams to construct concrete structures within industrial facilities. Responsibilities include collaborating with skilled workers to build forms, pour concrete, and perform bricklaying tasks. Tools commonly used include trowels, levels, mixers, floats, hammers, screwdrivers, and more.

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 8 hours, 1.5x on Saturdays, and 2.0x on Sundays.
Work Hours: Average of 45-50 hours per week with ample overtime opportunities.
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.58 per mile for travel beyond 40 miles from Syracuse.
Travel Perks: Meals and hotels covered for travel assignments.
Compensation: High wage ceiling with skilled workers earning over $30.00 per hour (excluding overtime) after gaining experience.
Flexible Time Off: Built-in days off for long projects.
Shop Work: Occasional 8-hour shifts for equipment cleaning and maintenance.
Shift Differentials: Additional pay for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Work Environment:
Team Dynamics: Work alongside a skilled lead, not in a leadership role.
Standard Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend or off-shift work depending on project needs.
Industry: Industrial construction with a significant contract with nuclear plant in Oswego for the next three years.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
