Crouse’s Women and Children’s Admin team is hiring a Director of Nursing for Obstetrics who will have oversight of the Regional Perinatal Center (RPC). The RPC will work with affiliate hospitals, providing expertise, training, and support to ensure that mothers and babies have access to the highest quality and specialized care throughout the designated region.
Pay Range: Based on experience and education, up to $200,000/year.
Available Schedule(s): Full-Time.
Director of Nursing Position Responsibilities:
Partner with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for expanding women’s health services, including community outreach programs and new service lines.
Monitor trends in obstetric care and adjust department goals to remain competitive and meet the evolving needs of the community.
Oversee the orientation, training, and ongoing education of OB staff to ensure competency in care delivery.
Director of Nursing Position Requirements:
Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with Master's Degree in a related field, or a Bachelor's Degree in another field with a Master's Degree in Nursing.
Basic Life support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.
Certification in a specialty area preferred.
Five (5) years or more of management/leadership experience required. Must possess demonstrated leadership ability.
