Robert Half Accounts Receivable Manager in Syracuse, New York

Description

Nick Corieri from Robert Half's Syracuse office has an opening for an Accounts Receivable Manager. As an integral part of our team, you will be instrumental in managing our accounts receivable operations in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the accounts receivable team, including any external collections partners.

  • Provide timely and accurate monthly accounts receivable reports to management.

  • Continuously monitor collections and swiftly resolve any emerging issues.

  • Organize and facilitate regular meetings for the Accounts Receivable/Work in Process Committee.

  • Collaborate with the external collections team, AR/WIP Committee, and management to enhance collection efforts for specific members.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication with senior management within the company.

  • Partner with the Billing Manager to ensure accurate and timely billing, aimed at minimizing collection times.

  • Spearhead the initiative to transition the external collections group in-house.

  • Manage accounts receivable write-offs in accordance with company guidelines.

  • Innovate and optimize the operational collection processes and procedures through technology.

  • Execute all collection functions as necessary.

  • Support the accounts receivable team in special projects and enhancing workflow efficiency.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable Management.

• Proficient in performing various Billing Functions.

• Demonstrated skills in Accounting Management.

• Experience in Supervisory Management, with the ability to lead a team efficiently.

• Expertise in using Enterprise Accounting software for managing accounts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation.
