The Opportunity:
KBR are seeking a Systems & Software Engineer to support Maritime Sustainment Division with its inputs to Defence ERP Tranche 3 scoping study related (but not limited) to complex engineering and maintenance programs, and to support activities associated with the transition of current systems into ERP solution.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the MSD response and inputs to the ERP
Program Tranche 3 Complex Engineering and Maintenance (CEM) scoping study.
Assist as required at relevant events and meetings to represent Maritime ERP.
Contribute to recommendations and development of associated artefacts in support of the scooping study (for CoA approval).
Support project management and risk management activities.
Work collaboratively with other Maritime stakeholders participating in this activity to ensure that the needs of MSD are captured and incorporated.
Collaborate with other projects and SME’s to understand Navy Logistics Information Systems (NLIS) and existing Maritime processes to solicit appropriate input into the ERP scoping study.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (or other relevant field) and/or requisite relevant industry experience (3 years +)
Hold a current Defence Security Clearance – Baseline (or higher)
Skills, knowledge and experience in Defence Navy Logistics and Information (NLIS) Systems, and Maritime engineering and maintenance practices and processes.
An understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Defence writing skills Desirable
