Description
AWS is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to provide expert guidance to our Financial Services customers. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor, helping Financial Services organizations optimize their adoption and leverage of AWS technologies.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Financial Services industry, comprehensive knowledge of Financial Services applications and infrastructure, and a strong understanding of how cloud services can empower customers to Modernize their applications, migrate their data centers to AWS, and Accelerate the development of innovative industry solutions. As the Senior Solutions Architect, you will leverage your domain expertise to architect and deploy resilient, secure, and scalable cloud-based solutions that address the unique needs of Financial Services organizations. You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and compliance constraints, and then recommend the optimal AWS services and best practices to meet their goals. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Solutions Architect who is passionate about driving cloud transformation in the Financial Services sector.
Key job responsibilities
Customer Engagement:
Build strategic relationships with Financial Services customers
Understand their business challenges, technical needs, and compliance requirements
Deliver consultative guidance for cloud transformation initiatives
Technical Leadership:
Guide optimal adoption of AWS services
Design solutions for application modernization and cloud migration
Architect secure, resilient, and scalable cloud solutions
Lead implementation of industry-specific innovations
Solution Design & Implementation:
Partner across teams to design and optimize cloud infrastructure
Ensure solutions align with Financial Services compliance requirements
Drive best practices in security, reliability, and performance
Business Enablement
Help customers maximize AWS platform capabilities
Align technical solutions with business objectives
Enable successful cloud adoption through proven methodologies
Technical Excellence:
& Maintain expertise in latest AWS services and features
Share knowledge and insights across customer organizations
Contribute to AWS Financial Services industry solutions

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
