THE ROLE

The Product Manager for the Endoscopy portfolio will help ensure Stryker South Pacific achieves success by growing its market share to become the leader within this space, optimizing profitability and creating a sustainable business over time.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for existing and new products, including product promotional campaigns, pricing strategies and lifecycle management, which lead to increased profitability, brand leadership and market share growth.

  • Developing educational events such as workshops and roadshows with the goal of educating HCPs about surgical safety.

  • Proactively monitoring market dynamics, customer behaviour and competitor activity to understand the marketing opportunities which are supported by data analytics and then to provide commercial teams with the tools to capitalise on these opportunities.

  • Acting a resource to the sales force for leadership, technical support, product training, problem-solving, sales effectiveness and dissemination of market information and, work closely with other internal staff including regulatory for product registration, operations for stock level management and global partners for maximum value to customers.

  • Building strong customer relationships across multiple stakeholders within the industry and effectively communicating clinical and technical information to hospital executives nurses, educators and surgeon faculty. Communication skills also apply to tenders, business proposals and the use visual data analytics and digital marketing.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Ability to build meaningful relationships and champion a true business partnering model.

  • Proven leadership, negotiation, communication, presentation and networking skills

  • Previous experience and success in product management and launching new products.

  • Analytical skills and ability to interpret technical, clinical and marketing data relating to product portfolio and/or industry

  • Tertiary qualifications in either marketing, scientific, biological, biomedical or engineering.

  • Computer literacy including graphics, spreadsheets, databases, digital marketing
