The Role

Working in a high-performance team within one of our flagship Global Finance clients and reporting to the Senior FM for the Sydney Campus, you will coordinate and deliver facilities solutions at their prestigious heritage-listed building in Sydney CBD, overseeing preventative maintenance and incident response with the support of Facilities Coordinators and wider teams across Engineering and Guest Relations.

For the successful candidate, this collaborative and integral position will support the foundations for the client’s ongoing success in 2024, following an exciting period of workplace transformation and mobilisation of their new state-of-the-art HQ.

A typical day may involve:

  • Delivery of efficient and cost-effective FM services in line with agreed budgets and client expectations.

  • Overseeing all facilities inspections, supervising repair work and maintenance across all office floors and spaces.

  • Managing contractors and ensuring compliance with safety and risk management protocols, and reviewing all safety documentation and permits.

  • Managing and reporting incidents, including regular walkthroughs to identify possible issues.

  • Effective handling of work orders, purchase orders and associated admin.

  • Assisting in monitoring environmental health & safety procedures.

  • Assisting the Senior FM with timely account and service reporting.

  • Collaborating with Engineering, Base Building and wider FM teams team to ensure the highest standard of service delivery.

Requirements

  • (ESSENTIAL) – Strong Facilities Manager background

  • (ESSENTIAL) – Experience within a corporate office environment.

  • (ESSENTIAL) – Polished, well presented corporate style, with excellent relationship management skills.

  • (PREFERRED) – Experience within the Financial Services industry.

  • Pro-active “can do” attitude, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Competency with MS Office programs.

  • Full working rights in Australia for a permanent position.
