Join our team as a Senior Lead Motor Control Engineer to innovate and optimize motor control systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, optimize, and implement advanced motor control algorithms, including control methods like Field-Oriented Control (FOC) and Direct Torque Control (DTC)
Utilization of MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and control validation
Identification and resolution of complex motor control and firmware-related issues during development and deployment phases
Ensure that motor control systems and firmware follow safety standards
Conduct system-level tests to ensure performance, reliability, and safety of motor control
Lead and mentor the firmware-related team, providing technical mentorship and ensuring smooth integration of motor control algorithms into embedded systems
Drive the global defined roadmap for motor control firmware development, aligning with firmware-committee and technology strategies
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, firmware architecture and standard methodologies for motor control implementation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware, motor, and compressor engineers, to achieve cohesive system designs
Requirements:
A degree or equivalent experience in Control and Drive Technology, Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related field, with extensive experience in motor control and firmware development.
Strong expertise in developing and optimizing motor control algorithms for variable speed drives, with proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, C, and C++.
Proven leadership experience in guiding firmware-related teams, defining development roadmaps and ensuring seamless integration of motor control algorithms into embedded systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex motor control and firmware-related issues during development and deployment.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities, with solid spoken and written English skills to effectively engage with multidisciplinary teams.
