Job Description:

Stanley Black & Decker are looking for a highly motivated Industrial Designer to join our Suzhou design team and be an integral part of our Global Design Team.

The GTS Industrial Design Team which part of Stanley Black & Decker’s Global Tools and Storage division, provides end user insights, innovation, industrial design, final surfacing, digital visualization and prototyping support for several key Brand franchises. These include, Stanley, Black + Decker, DEWALT, Craftsman, Mac Tools, Porter Cable, Bostitch, Irwin & Lenox.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist senior/project Industrial designers to analyze the marketing demand, collect relevant product information and organize the data, so as to carry out product positioning and conceptual design

• Innovative thinking and enthusiasm for new product development and conceptual projects.

• Good communication skills and teamwork ability. Able to clearly explain their own design concepts and solutions;

• Able to handle multiple tasks at the same time, complete phased tasks assigned by superiors, and quickly deal with temporary tasks;

Qualifications

• Good working attitude, proactive and eager to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, cross-cultural team.

• Have the ability of fast conception and excellent sketching ability to quickly show their design intention and make it visible

• Proficient in using Photoshop and Illustrator graphic software to draw product design renderings and show the design effect;

• Master 3D modeling skills and 3D rendering capabilities. (Rhino, KeyShot, Catia and Pro-E are preferred.)

• Knowledge of mechanical structure and machining process, experience in power tool design is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Design.

• 3-5 years prior experience in a similar position

任职要求 :

• 工作态度端正，积极主动渴望在快节奏、多学科、跨文化的团队中工作。

• 具有快速构思的能力，具备优秀的素描能力能够快速展现自己的设计意图使之可视化呈现

• 熟练使用Photoshop、Illustrator的平面软件，绘制产品设计效果图，展现设计效果；

• 掌握三维建模技能和3维渲染能力。(Rhino，KeyShot，Catia和Pro-E的优先考虑。)

• 了解机械结构和加工工艺，具备电动工具设计经验者优先。

教育背景

• 工业设计学士学位

• 3-5年相关工作经验
