Insight Global Lead Cable Technician in Sun Valley, California
Job Description
A customer of Insight Global in the audio visual and entertainment technology space is looking to hire a Lead Cable Technician to join their team. This person will be responsible for installing audio visual equipment across various job sites throughout the LA area. Along with this, there will be times this person will be working in shop in order to prepare cables and equipment for field projects. Key responsibilities include equipment installation, testing, and terminating Cat5/Cat6 cables and audiovisual cabling. This person will also act as the lead for various teams and projects. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience in audiovisual cabling and integration, termination experience, and the ability to troubleshoot. They should also have some lead or supervisory experience. This person will be working a standard 40 hours/week, but daily work hours will vary depending on the project taking place. Skills and Requirements
2+ years experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, or upgrading structured A/V cabling
Lead or Supervisory experience
Experience terminating Cat5/Cat6 cabling or audio visual cabling
Comfortable passing a pre-employment background check and drug test
Comfortable working both in office and at job sites in the field Commercial AV integration experience null
