Job Responsibilities:
Trace Systems is looking for a highly qualified Project Manager to support of USAFRICOM. This exciting role will be critical in the supporting security cooperation and interoperability efforts with partner nations.
Plan and develop methods, procedures, and techniques to support secure communications interoperability between U.S. Forces and USAFRICOM Partners in support of USAFRICOM Theater Strategy and USAFRICOM Theater Security Cooperation Strategy objectives
Serve as C2 Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Planner for Partner Nation (PN) country specific C2 interoperability related staff packages
Plan, schedule, coordinate, execute, and facilitate cross-command and Regional Partner interoperability conferences, programs, and special working groups
Liaise with other directorates, external components and agencies, Ministries of Defense, and Security Cooperation Offices to support Coalition partner engagements, Command and Control Interoperability Boards (CCIB), Secure C2 Interoperability Working Groups (CIWG), and other events as required
Coordinate the resolution of CCIB and CIWG action items through collaboration with the staff and outside agencies
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently hold an adjudicated Secret clearance with the ability up obtain TS/SCI
BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
Knowledge of Joint Operations and Joint C2 systems preferred
Geographic Combatant Command experience and knowledge preferred
Willingness to travel to the African continent to support event planning and engagements
Exceptional planning and organizational skills, as well as strong oral and written communications skills.
Working knowledge of collaboration and telecommunications tools, Tactical Data Links, COMSEC regulations, CJCS Instructions, Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) policies, National Security Agency (NSA) Policies, and Command regulations
Desired Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience working with a Combatant Command
IAT-II (Security+) certification or higher (CISSP, CISM, etc)
Education:
- BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
