Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Office Assistant in Stony Brook, New York! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Three-month contract with opportunity for extension

Schedule: Part time – Monday, Wednesday Friday, 7am to 3:30pm

Pay: $20.00 to $21.00 an hour

Responsibilities of the Medical Office Assistant:

Answering telephone calls

Ordering office supplies

Responsible for timekeeping entry

Faxing and filing

Scheduling meetings

Qualifications for the Medical Office Assistant:

· Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred.

· Two years of administrative support experience.

· Experienced using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Attention to detail

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work with confidential data

· Ability to work in a fast complex environment

· Ability to multitask

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
