JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 20847 Position Title: Lecturer of Wildlife UW System/TTC Title and Code: Lecturer (TL020) FTE: 100% Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point Main Campus, Trainer Natural Resources Building Position Summary: This is a full-time, academic year (9-month) instructional academic staff lecturer position. The individual is responsible for classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction and assists with instructional development and design for a single course or series of courses within an academic discipline to support the delivery of quality instruction. Serves as an instructor of record for courses such as quantitative methods for wildlife, wildlife techniques, and population ecology. Teaches 12 credits or the equivalent each academic semester. The potential exists for teaching during summer and winterim sessions for additional compensation. Knowledge and experience in quantitative ecology. Knowledge of wildlife techniques such as population sampling and habitat assessment. Interest in working with diverse populations. Preferred Qualifications: PhD in wildlife ecology or related field. ABD at time of application will be considered.
