Responsibilities: * Analyze and diagnose the root cause of bugs or issues within software systems. This goes beyond simply documenting trouble tickets. * Write and understand queries written in Structured Query Language (SQL). * Maintain and develop J2EE applications that support manufacturing operations. * Understand and author solutions using Java, SQL, JSP, MVC and others * Support proposal development on Manufacturing related IT solutions. * Support manufacturing and divisional process improvement initiatives. Qualifications: * Possess a hands-on IT technical background as well as an understanding of manufacturing execution and related business processes. * Knowledge of Computer Aided Process Planning and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) especially iBaseT Solumina. * General knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems. * Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS. * General Understanding of our plant capabilities. * Qualifications sought: * Undergraduate degree in Engineering/ IT related fields (or equivalent) is required; additional graduate-level degree and relevant work experience a plus. * 5 to 7 years of experience. * Thrive in a flexible and ever-changing manufacturing environment supporting a variety of products and processes.
