BAE Systems Facilities Maintenance Coordinator in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Ensures optimal utilization of the organization s facilities.
Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends and plans to meet the needs.
Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the highest regard for safety & safe work practices
Coordinate all preventative maintenance activity including scheduling vendors, tracking due dates, and processing PM work orders in the Oracle EAM system
Ensure consumable supplies are ordered and stock maintained
Ensure conference rooms & other spaces are set up for meetings and special events as needed
Assist with research, development, and recommendations for facility repair and improvement actions
Plan and execute changes (with vendors) to the facility to include furniture installation, office rearrangements, electrical additions, and other changes based on business needs
Assist with the management of the office facility to include but not limited to: coordinating service requests with vendors, coordinating employee moves and furniture reconfigurations, and maintaining a floor plan database
Monitor office equipment, obtain quotes, and arrange the repair of inoperative equipment by contacting appropriate companies and overseeing repairs
Make recommendations for vendor products and services
Knowledge of building management systems for heating, cooling, and lighting
Basic understanding of preventative maintenance and asset management
Able to use small power tools
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Experience
High School Diploma / GED
4 years of experience
Experience with facility/building maintenance, work orders, and managing contractors
MS Office Suite (Excel)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

AutoCAD software
Oracle
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $53680 - $91300
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
