Actalent Nurse Educator in Stanford, California
Description:
The Nurse Educator also known as the Nursing Professional Developmental Specialist has 3 primary objectives; learning, change, professional role competence and growth. The position requires supporting the acquisition of knowledge skills, abilities, and attitudes upon which to base practice. As well as supporting the new adaptation of new processes in practice and maintaining continuity across the board for performance meeting the defined criteria set to each employee in their specialty. The position mainly services the OR, PACU, and other technical specialties within the health organization. The role will be educating and training nursing processionals and surgical techs on the proper standards of practice and requirements of the departments. The person in this role will be creating their own schedule building their training curriculum based on where the needs are for the organization. There are 4 sites across the Bay this position supports listed below. Emeryville San Jose Redwood City Palo Alto The person in this role must be comfortable traveling to various sites and working with inexperienced professionals. It is important this person has patience and is able to communicate effectively.
