PCI Pharma Services Senior Financial Accountant in Stamullen Co. Meath, Ireland

This role sits within our site Finance Team, reporting to the Finance Manager and is a hands-on position responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day financial operations, group & statutory reporting. Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Coordination of monthly accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet and analyses

  • Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

  • Monthly Intercompany reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly EBITDA Walk and supporting schedules

  • Load site results to OneStream for Consolidation by Group

  • Review AR performance and provide support to the invoicing team

  • Review and circulate weekly KPIs

  • Cash Flow Management & Forecasting

  • Review of Fixed Asset Register & Depreciation Schedules

  • Review & approve monthly journals, accruals, and prepayments

  • Process staff expenses and prepare Enhanced Reporting to Revenue

  • Review VAT, P30 & all other compliance returns monthly/quarterly/yearly

  • Manage Capex Budget and maintain Capital Plan

  • Preparation of monthly P&L forecasts

  • Key participant in annual budgeting process

  • Key point of contact for external auditors for annual statutory audit

  • Flexibility to collaborate with other departments when required

  • Ensure compliance with all Revenue & Corporate governance

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required

Essential

  • ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant

  • Big 4 or Top 10 trained

  • Minimum of 2 years working in Finance function of a multi-national or multi-site business, with exposure to intercompany transactions / reconciliations

  • Proven experience in financial accounting, with a focus on areas like financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, reconciliations, and analysis

  • Analytical with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work on own initiative, under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Strong knowledge of general accounting concepts

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel

Desirable

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience (either in practice or industry)

  • Previous use of JD Edwards or similar ERP system
