PCI Pharma Services Facilities Technician in Stamullen Co. Meath, Ireland

We are now hiring 2 x Facilities Technicians (Permanent positions) to join our team in Stamullen, County Meath.

These are Monday to Friday roles, 100% on-site.

As Facilities Technician, you will:

  • Ensure facility is presented and maintained to acceptable Pharmaceutical Standards;

  • Understand the operation of and be able to carry our relevant routine tasks to all items of facility in relation to improvement, repair & maintenance;

  • Play a key role in relation to the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of facility equipment and buildings, through breakdown repairs, record of equipment settings, adjustments, preventive maintenance, continuous improvement projects, maintenance of spares and consumable stocks, interaction with operations teams and other key depts on site, etcetera;

  • Be part of an engineering site wide team. Team members are encouraged and expected to work co-operatively with each other, giving advice, assistance etc. as required. In addition, the technician is part of a wider site team and is expected to work with the team in order to achieve production or site goals;

  • Be familiar with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Work Procedures for the repair and maintenance of relevant facility equipment.

  • Maintain a record of facility equipment, plant history and servicing;

  • Liase and support site Contracts: Utilities / Security / Cleaning / Pest Control /Landscaping/ Fire Protection / Security Alarms / Camera’s / Access control / general maintenance;

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and GMP during maintenance work;

  • Maintain the workshops, plant rooms and facilities storage areas in an organised and tidy condition at all times and ensure the correct storage of tools and parts;

  • Adhere to all company and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements;

  • Participate in all training and assessment activities related to the position, e.g. GMP training, equipment technical training, Health & Safety requirements etc;

  • Do other duties as assigned by the Engineering Director / Facilities Manager or Facilities Engineer.
