Job Description POSITION: Lead Housekeeping REPORTS TO: Guest Relations Scope of position The Lead Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining that wow experience for guests, by providing immaculately clean guest rooms to uphold The Hideaways ideal of barefoot luxury. Attention to detail and organization are a must. They are responsible for daily tidying and maintaining the integrity of the interior and exterior of the buildings. [Time Commitment: 30 - 40 hours/week [Status: Full Time [Work Location: Onsite [Responsibilities ]{lang="EN"}]{lang="EN"}]{lang="EN"}]{lang="EN"} - Responsible for daily tidying and cleaning of all guest rooms - Responsible for turning over of guest rooms during check in and check out days - All laundry - Deep cleaning of property during scheduled times including windows, doors, interior, exterior - Cleaning of central pavilion - Hiring/ managing extra staff if needed for turn over days - Responsible for reporting any maintenance issues to the facilities manager, and - Keep in constant communication with the guest relations coordinator with updates on the property - Have meticulous attention to detail - Strong work ethic - Basic computer skills, able to look at booking app and create cleaning schedule around bookings - Self-Starter - Be available on weekends and holidays Skills Desired - Must be proficient in English - Strong communication skills - Organized [Prerequisites/Experience [The ideal candidate is located in the USVI, is a seasoned and highly intelligent hospitality professional with outstanding organizational skills and hospitality experience. Have minimum of 5 years experience in housekeeping or hospitality. Available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed. Minimum 5 years experience in the hospitality industry, with focus in luxury and international experience, ideally including experience in remote locations. ]{lang="EN"}]{lang="EN"}
