Robert Half Sr. Accountant in St. Petersburg, Florida
Description
We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to become an integral member of our team. In this role, you'll handle various accounting operations, such as month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries, while providing support to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the process of monthly closing of financial books
• Execute bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Prepare and record journal entries in General Ledger
• Conduct account reconciliation to maintain precise financial records
• Handle accruals to reflect the company's financial status accurately
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and presentation
• Operate accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for financial management
• Provide support to the Controller in financial decision-making processes
• Balance sheet reconciliation to confirm accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential
• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation with accuracy
• Experience in Bank Reconciliations is required
• Familiarity with General Ledger management
• Proficient in drafting Journal Entries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Experience in Month End Close activities
