Job Description
Note: This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.
Job Summary:
As part of the IT Capital Markets department, the Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing IT product strategy, streamlining reporting frameworks, and optimizing analytics tools across all Global Equities & Investment Banking (GEIB) business lines. This role bridges the gap between GEIB’s diverse business units and the technology teams, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable data insights. In doing so, it drives process efficiency, supports strategic decision-making, and underpins GEIB’s broader digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
BI and Analytics Solutions: Design and implement business intelligence solutions using platforms such as Qlik Sense/ Tableau / BI solutions, tailored to GEIB’s unique requirements. Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to facilitate strategic decision-making.
Data and Reporting Management: Manage and process incoming data and reporting requests across all GEIB business lines, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Clear existing backlogs and establish standardized reporting frameworks to support consistent business insights.
Collaboration and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to translate business reporting requirements into technical solutions. Utilize SQL Server and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) for robust database management and advanced analytics.
Project and Process Management: Apply a hybrid approach that leverages both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage IT product enhancements and reporting initiatives. Drive continuous process improvement in data handling, reporting efficiency, and IT product management.

Skills/ Previous Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) or more years of experience in business intelligence analysis, reporting, or IT product management within financial services or investment banking is highly preferred.
Knowledge of:
Business intelligence tools and technologies, including Qlik Sense, CRM solutions, and similar platforms.
SQL Server, Oracle, and cloud-based data management solutions.
Capital Markets: Equity sales and research business operations, investment banking, and global equities workflows.
The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern project management methodologies.
Agile tools (TFS, GIT, ADO, JIRA) and best practices in data analytics, visualization, and reporting frameworks.
Data governance, compliance, and relevant securities industry regulations.
Skill in:
Advanced SQL query writing and analysis across relational databases and cloud platforms.
Using CRM SaaS solutions (DealCloud, Salesforce, MS 365 Dynamics, etc.) to support BI initiatives.
Leveraging BI/reporting platforms such as Qlik Sense, with a readiness to obtain necessary certifications.
Implementing Agile methodologies using tools like TFS, ADO, and JIRA.
Integrating IT product management with the dynamic needs of financial services and investment banking.
Ability to:
Manage large volumes of data and inbound requests efficiently across Capital Markets & Advisory.
Translate complex data sets into actionable insights for strategic business decision-making.
Develop, standardize, and optimize reporting frameworks that meet diverse Capital Markets requirements.
Collaborate effectively with technology and development teams to ensure seamless IT execution.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Adapt to evolving business needs, ensuring scalability and continuous improvement in BI capabilities.
Licenses/Certifications:
None required, however Qlik Sense Business Analyst Certification within 6 months of hire date.
Preferred certifications include BI /Reporting Technology, Qlik Sense, SQL, and cloud technology credentials (AWS, Azure, Snowflake), as well as CRM platform certifications such as DealCloud / Salesforce or similar.
