Project Management Coordinator

Position Summary

St. Petersburg is our primary soft gel development and manufacturing facility in North America with capacity of 18 billion capsules per year.  Within the Catalent network, we offer a broad range of integrated formulation and analytical services to solve difficult development and manufacturing challenges.

The Project Management Coordinator is responsible for attending meetings to represent Project Management to gather requests and appropriately communicate to responsible individuals within the Project Management and Product Development organization for follow-up. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload. The PM Coordinator may have responsibilities for supporting the training and mentoring of other new Project Coordinators within the team. May manage smaller projects which generally require a small amount of client interaction. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. This job requires full-time on-site availability.

The Role

  • Delivering on customer requests as well as ensuring that deliverables are attained in support of readiness to execute (RTE).

  • Work closely with scientists and project management to ensure on-time delivery of requested documentation.

  • Support customer regulatory documentation compilation.

  • Follow up with document change requests through the system to make sure these requests are executed in a timely manner within the project timeline.

  • Facilitate deliverables required to ensure readiness to execute (RTE).

  • Support operations to ensure delivery of all required documents to support batch manufacture.

  • Support quality unit to ensure that all required documents are in place to support batch release.

  • Define and continuously improve key processes.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

  • Demonstrated project management experience is a plus.

  • Experience in FDA regulated industry, the pharmaceutical CDMO industry is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Projects and ability to understand timeline is preferred.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs required (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint).

  • Experience in technical writing and change control is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Documentum, TrackWise, and JD Edwards preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. Individual required to sit, stand, walk and lift to 15 pounds; no lifting greater than 44.09 pounds without assistance. Be accessible to manufacturing floor and office staff and to use required office equipment. Specific vision requirements include reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen frequently.
