This Opportunity We are seeking a remote Project Chemist to join our team! You will be responsible for coordination of analytical services, verification and validation of analytical data, and data quality reporting. This position will support Bay West s Senior Project Chemist, Project Managers, Project/Field Staff, Database Administrators, and laboratory and validation subcontractors. Your Key Responsibilities Coordinating analytical services with Project Teams. Assisting with project data acquisition in EarthSoft s EDGE, EQuIS Collect, and EQuIS environmental data management software when needed. Coordinating with subcontracted laboratories and/or data validators for project sampling and analysis including data tracking, project timelines, troubleshooting, compliance, and quality requirements for the project. Performing detailed summary level data validation, and preparing detailed assessment reports of analytical results and quality following data validation guidance such as Department of Defense (DoD) General Data Validation Guidelines, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) National Functional Guidelines. Preparing analytical chemistry sections of Uniform Federal Policy (UFP)-Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs), and project work plans. Preparing Quality Control Summary Reports (QCSRs) and Data Quality Evaluations (DQEs).
