Description
IT Business Analyst Contract
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with vendors to deliver software solutions that align with business obligations and goals.
• Document business process in conjunction with technical solutions processes.
• Display soft skills when interacting with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Take the lead in small group discussions, displaying comfort and confidence.
• Show an advanced understanding of the Windows Operating System.
• Handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of workstation operating systems and related software to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Troubleshoot basic network infrastructure issues, utilizing knowledge of protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, as well as hardware like routers and switches.
• Manage print-related issues, ensuring printer accessibility, managing print queues, and potentially configuring new printers.
• Take part in the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge of systems programming and associated activities.
• Utilize PowerShell scripts and Windows batches.
• Import data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts.
• Operate and analyze data.
• Envision system needs based on business user interactions.
• Understand the organization's goals and objectives and the impact of technology solutions on the organization.
Requirements
• Ability to liaise with Vendors effectively
• Troubleshooting skills are required
• Experience in Implementation is crucial
• Must be familiar with Operating Systems, especially Windows OS
• A degree in Computer Sciences is preferred
• Experience with Switches is necessary
• UX skills are beneficial
• Must have a strong understanding of Computer Hardware
