Overview: Join McGough Construction, a leader in the building industry, as an Industrial QC Coordinator. In this role, you'll play a critical part in overseeing and enhancing our quality management systems across high-impact construction projects. Your expertise will ensure compliance with industry standards and foster continuous quality improvements. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols and documentation. Lead the implementation of QC requirements by project teams. Review and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, and testing. Conduct quality audits and coordinate with both in-house and external suppliers. Mentor and train Quality Department staff, ensuring high levels of competency and certification. Manage daily and weekly quality meetings to ensure alignment and address issues. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years in quality control within the construction industry or applicable experience. Proven leadership in discipline-specific quality control programs. Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, NBIC, API, AISC, AWS, ANSI, IEEE, PIP, etc.). Experience in NDE techniques including VT, MT, PT, UT, and RT. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient with construction software such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications. Office and Travel: Ability to locate full-time on site for project durations ranging from 6-months to 24-months or greater at projects located around the nation.
