This position exists to maintain the buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include:
Clean restrooms and locker rooms and maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and inventory.
Maintain and clean buildings to include but not limited to floors, hallways, office, storage, parking garages and common areas.
Maintain windows, skylights, ceilings, lighting fixtures, and walls.
Assist with grounds maintenance.
Clean and maintain sidewalks and parking lots.
Operates, maintain, and makes minor repairs on cleaning equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of different types of flooring/floor covering to determine proper methods of maintenance and appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
Knowledge of cleaning products such as ammonia, bleaches, scouring agents and soaps to appropriately select the agent(s), handle and apply, and dispose of safely.
Skill in operating routine maintenance equipment and using hand tools (ex. lawn mowers, trimmers, floor buffer, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with powered snow removal and lawncare equipment.
Skill in making minor mechanical repairs.
