Associate Project Accountant The Associate Project Accountant will provide accounting and administrative support to the Project Accountant to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis and assistance to project teams. In this position you have the potential to grow in to a Project Accountant, where you are leading meetings, taking ownership of processes and contributing to the success of the project. Qualifications: Required: Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Minimum one year of accounting and/or administrative experience Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities Construction related business experience Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communication Proficiency in Microsoft office suite with expert excel skills Ability to function as an integral team member, working under time constraints and meeting deadlines in a changing environment Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision Ability to foster and create relationships with outside contacts, i.e. Auditors, Owner's Representatives, Owners, Subcontractors Embodies personal integrity and keeps confidences Travel within 100 miles of Roseville Headquarters Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting Responsibilities and Tasks: Assist Project Accountant(s) with daily support to project teams Regularly process vendor invoices/pay applications Assist with tracking subcontractor lien waivers, for all applicable Tiers (I, II) as needed by project Pull necessary backup for project billings and audits Assist with printing backup documentation Assist in ensuring that all project costs are processed timely Ensure completed projects are closed out timely, following the close documents Assist in preparing journal entries as necessary View every interaction as an opportunity to add value and enhance relationships Physical Requirements: The physical requirements listed here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
