The IT Team supports a variety of applications that are leasing, financial and employee needs related. The various applications are on platforms including Java/Oracle, AWS, Microsoft SQL Server/.NET, PeopleSoft Financials, Oracle BI and Salesforce. Now is an exciting time to be part of this team because of enhancements needed to many of our applications to support our business expansion efforts.

Responsibilities

The EFM IT team has an exciting opportunity on the newly created Developer Productivity & Tools team for an Engineer 2. The Developer Productivity Tools team is responsible for the overall lifecycle, standards and use of our application productivity and development tools. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, documenting, creating processes, reporting, and supporting our productivity and application development tools. The Engineer 2 will be tasked with the management, maintenance, and upgrades of third-party libraries to support our custom applications and development of custom plug-ins for our CI/CD pipeline. The Engineer 2 will also assist with tool selection, configuration, and maintenance, as well as developing new standards regarding tools use and requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• Must currently reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IL (Saint Louis Metropolitan Area Only), IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, NC, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WI

• Minimum of three years’ experience in the following areas:

• CI/CD pipeline tooling and applications

• Management of third-party libraries and repositories

• Unit testing

• Gradle build scripts

• Managing software dependencies for build tools such as Gradle, Node.js/NPM, Python, NuGet

• Java application build processes and associated configurations

• Knowledge and experience with Dynatrace, Atlassian Suite, GitLab, or GitHub

• Ability to troubleshoot application build failures and find solutions

• Proven ability to extrapolate data out of application monitoring and development tools and present to non-technical resources

• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and perform night and weekend maintenance as needed

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

• Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to multi-task

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation

• Must be willing and able to quickly learn new tools, technologies, and platforms as required

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office software products

• Must have the ability to meet all work from home technical requirements

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Preferred qualifications:

• Cloud based tooling, scripting, and monitoring

• Familiarity with application build tooling and development practices in general

• Java software development (Groovy knowledge is a plus)

• Experience with the use of version control systems for code management (Git is a plus)

• Experience with code scanning and vulnerability analysis (SonarQube is a plus)

• Experience working with AWS

Work from Home (WFH) Requirements:
