What you'll do
SAP recently decided to combine and harmonize all SAP Sovereign Cloud offerings, establishing an end-to-end process for the Public Sector and regulated industries. The newly created Sovereign Services & Delivery business unit is part of SAP Customer Services and Delivery board with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP. Sovereign Services & Delivery is collaborating closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables.
We are looking for a Project Expert - Development (f/m/d) within the Sovereign Cloud Product Architecture & Enablement unit of the Technology & Delivery team in the Customer Services and Delivery board area. In this role you will lead target group specific communication and ensure timely generation of deliverables by partnering with cross-functional teams to lead key strategic and critical initiatives to success in line with internal and external expectations. You will be working closely with the Technical Product Managers and will help them to successfully onboard new SAP products into the SAP Sovereign Cloud portfolio. You will support efficient reporting on programs executed across the overall Technology & Delivery unit. You will be responsible for building strong interaction across organizational boundaries. You will support the creation of business cases where appropriate, analyze stakeholder requirements and translate these into internal product vision and product roadmap.
What you bring
Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience
6 years of experience with a successful track record of leading and managing geographically dispersed engineering projects and cross-functional program teams; PMI or similar project management certificate is an advantage
Proven track record in end-to-end implementation initiatives
Ability to think strategically, delivering services to meet stakeholders’ demands on a timely basis
Cultural awareness, intercultural competencies
Ability to influence without formal authority
Ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders
Persistence, self-motivation and willingness to work under pressure
Excellent knowledge of SAP and the SAP solution portfolio
Strong problem-solving, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage through ambiguities while being innovative and collaborative
Technology skills and the willingness to learn new topics quickly
Regular availability in the afternoon/early evening to accomodate to meetings in the US time zone
English (fluent), German is a plus
