The role

Provide engineering and technical expertise for the Board production facility, in order to continuously improve plant safety, quality and productivity.

How youll make an impact

Guide efforts in support of manufacturing productivity with process troubleshooting, quality improvements and training.

Collect and analyze data, monitor key variables, document findings in report form.

Lead process-engineering and continuous improvement support for new and existing products.

Provide on-call technical support for the St. Johnsbury manufacturing facility and assist to troubleshoot board machines or quality issues.

Run development trials to optimize operations on the board machines and within the components area.

Interact and collaborate daily with Management, Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Operators and Lab personnel to implement changes and improve process performance.

Manage projects; including the purchase, install and startup of new process equipment, the enhancement of existing processes, and the development of new products

What do you bring

Bachelors degree in Paper Science, Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and three to five years experience in a manufacturing setting desired.

Effectively utilize computer-based applications including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in team based activities.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated

Willingness to teach and train others.
