Intermountain Health Pediatric Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist in St George, Utah
Job Description:
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing and treating disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing. In addition, this position is responsible for consulting, educating and training patients, families, and caregivers and for collaborating with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality, patient centered care.

Join our team at St. George Regional Hospital as a Pediatric Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team and ensuring our young patients receive the best care by:
Clinical Services: Deliver high-quality clinical services with appropriate goals, duration, and intensity for each patient.
Compliance: Adhere to department and regulatory requirements for documentation, charging, and scheduling.
Supervision and Education: Provide supervision and education to colleagues, new employees, students, and others in training.
Mentorship: Mentor student clinicians during externships/affiliations and new employees.
Communication: Maintain effective communication and relationships with other professionals, patients, families, and caregivers.
Meetings: Participate in patient care conferences, staff meetings, and other required or requested meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program (degree will be verified).
Current state Speech Pathologist license.
Basic computer skills (e.g., word processing and email).
Current certificate of clinical competence.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Speech Pathology.
Hospital experience.
Experience with the target population to be treated.
Physical Requirements:
Employees need to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors require employees to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
If driving is required, current driver's license, insured, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$41.22 - $63.59
